HOLLADAY — Mrs. Vera Casto Andrus, 66, 2733 Casto Lane (5060 South), Newpaper Agency Corp. employe, died of a heart ailment Tuesday at 1:05 p.m. in a Salt Lake hospital.
Mrs. Andrus had been a circulation solicitor for NAC since 1954.
She was born July 26, 1898, in Holladay, a daughter of S. M. and Mary Graham Casto. She married Mervin Andrus in Salt Lake City. He died March 18, 1949.
Mrs. Andrus was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Holladay Twenty-third Ward. She also had been employed in the millinery departments at Keith O'Brien's and Auerbach Co.
Survivors include a brother and sister, L. L. (Lou) Casto, Holladay, and Mrs. Afton Barnes, Santa Barbara, Calif.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday noon at 4760 S. State, where friends may call Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Saturday on hour prior to services. Burial will be in Holladay Cemetery.
