Funeral services for Mrs. Ruby Nell Craft, 84, formerly of Tylertown, will be held at 11:30 A.M on Friday, April 6, 2018 at Capps Chapel with the Reverend Bill Boren officiating. Burial will be in the Sartinville Cemetery.
Mrs. Craft passed away at her residence in Covington, Louisiana on Sunday, March 31, 2018. She was born August 26, 1933 in the Salem Community, Mississippi to the late Rodney Henry and Nora Alice Johnson Martin. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her brothers Hubert Martin, and Nolan Martin; and sisters Viola Boyd, Nora Holmes, and Gladys Pittman.
She was a member of First Baptist Covington, and a former member of First Baptist of Arabi. Mrs. Craft was a homemaker and enjoyed sewing and handwork, cooking, and gardening.
Survivors include her husband of 65 ½ years, Kerney Craft, Sr.; son Kerney Craft, Jr. (Debra); daughter Beverly Lilly (Thomas); sister Christine Martin Hayes; grandchildren Kerney Craft, III (Brittany), Kody Craft, Andrew Gordon (Caroline); and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Kerney Craft III, Kody Craft, Andrew Gordon, Kerney Craft, Jr., Thomas Lilly, and Peter Labarre.
Visitation will be at Capps Funeral Home on Friday, April 6, 2018 from 9:30 A.M. until service time there at 11:30 A.M.
Hartman-Hughes Capps Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.
