MURRAY, Ky.--Services for Logan G. Bland, 74, of Murray will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Imes-Miller Funeral Home with the Revs. Jim Simmons and T.A. Thacker officiating. Burial will be in Murray City Cemetery.
Mr. Bland died at 4:54 a.m. Wednesday at his home.
He was a member of Memorial Baptist Church in Murray and worked as a safety inspector for 31 years. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.
Surviving are one son, James L. Bland of Murray; one daughter, Patricia Smith of Dutton, Ala.; one brother, Joe Pat Bland of Murray; one sister, Martha Dowdy of Murray; three granddaughters; and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruby Lois Pittman Bland. His parents were John Logan and Laura Adams Bland.
