FLEMINGTON---Mrs. Verna M. MacGregor, 73, died today, Tuesday, January 26, 1965, at the home of her son, Harry R. Callahan Jr., 206 High Street. She had been critically ill several months.

Daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Charles E. Krape, she was born at Mill Hall RD and had lived in this vicinity most of her life.

Mrs. Macgregor’s husband, Charles E. Macgregor, chief burgess of Flemington many years, died three years ago this January.

She was a member of first Church of Christ, the American War Mothers, and the auxiliary of the Good Will Hose Company. A well-known vocal soloist in earlier years, she had directed musical ensembles and the church choir here.

Mrs. MacGregor was survived by two sons, Harry Callahan, Flemington; and Charles W. Callahan, Bradford; seven grandchildren, five great grandchildren; also, two sisters, Mrs. Henry Mans, Harrisburg; and Mrs. John Watson, Kalamazoo, Michigan.

Services were held at the Helt Funeral Home, Lock Haven, with the Reverend Jack Anderson officiating.

Interment was in Cedar Hill Cemetery.
