Aunt Edna was very spirited and fun. In 1977, I got a chance to travel to Missouri, thanks to Edna, and meet my grandfather's side of our family...Ruby (Edna's daughter), her children and Al, Ruby's husband. It was a summer I will never forget. Edna and her husband had owned a beautiful farm up the road from Ruby and Al, in Bois d'Arc, lots of green, and a pond, and dairy cattle. Up until that point in my life, I had never been to a rural area like this, and the visit was fun and unique. I just wish that I could have said goodbye to her, and kept in touch more often.
Edna's husband, Bill, passed away in 1972...I don't remember a lot about him. Edna remained a widow until her passing. Bill and Edna married in 1937, in Miami, Florida..for 35 years.
