Sarah was the daughter of Powers Inman (1809-1869)** and Mary Durst (1812-1897). She married Francis C. Diller in 1870 and they had 7 children.

They were Mary C. (1871-1928), Minerva J. (1872-1963), Emma (1874-Unk), Daisy (1876-1945), Chauncey (1879-1959), Bertha A. (1882-1964), and Clemenza (1885-1963).

Sarah apparently was mentally ill and was committed to the state mental hospital for 4 1/2 years before she died. She is buried in Willow Cemetery with her husband and one daughter, Clemenza.
