BURRILLVILLE - Arthur Entwistle, Jr., 93, went home to be with his Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, on March 21, 2018. He was predeceased by his wife of 71 years, Venus (Ondis), and by three brothers: Frederick Entwistle, Leonard Entwistle and Jesse Entwistle; four sisters: Dorcas Majkowski, Ruth Sousa and two who died in childhood.
Born in Lincoln to the late Arthur and Jesse (Dowding) Entwistle, Arthur Jr. was a hard-working man who loved the Lord and his family. He raised his children and cared for his beloved wife, working for himself and training his children to be strong, independent adults with a stout commitment to family. He enjoyed travel and adventure, taking his extended family on many extensive road trips to explore our beautiful country. He was quick to open his home to anyone who needed help. There were never too many people or too little room to accommodate another. Today, he enjoys the reward of a life well lived and a legacy of love for his family.
Arthur is survived by ten children and their spouses: Barbara and Edgar Brousseau, Venus Urich, Arthur III and Claire Entwistle, Susan and Raymond Bois, Ellen and Robert Eddy, Stephen Entwistle, Andrea and Eifi Tokuhira, Albert Entwistle, Mark Entwistle, Lenora and Mark Goodwin; eighteen grandchildren; nineteen great grandchildren and children of his heart: Deborah and Charles Labrecque. His service will be held Monday, March 26, 2018 beginning at 10 AM with a service at 11 AM in the Boucher Funeral Home, 272 Sayles Ave. Pascoag. Burial will follow in Acotes Hill Cemetery, Putnam Pike, Chepachet.
