Ramona Ann Swaim was born September 2, 1938 in Fort Worth, Texas to Monroe Jackson Faries and Oda Irene Faries where they raised her on a farm. She went to be with her Lord at the age of 79, January 16, 2018 in Fort Worth, Texas. Ramona attended and graduated from Comanche High School. She worked in a dress factory that was located in Granbury, Texas. Ramona was a member of Southwest Christian Church and later of Wedgwood Baptist Church of Fort Worth, Texas. Amongst many things, she enjoyed; basketball, cooking, sewing, crafts, westerns, and music. She was preceded in death by: parents, Monroe Jackson Faries and Oda Irene Cook; sisters, Jane Massey, Sally Knight; brothers-in-law, Warren G. Massey, Sid Knight; niece, Lynda Massey Smith; and nephew, Danny Knight. Those left to cherish her memory: daughters, Valrie Hargreaves and husband David, Vickie Barnett and husband Mark; and many niece and nephews. In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to Wedgwood Baptist Church of Fort Worth and/or to Christ Church Assembly of God of Fort Worth and/or to Rhyan's Good Day Foundation.
