Deaths

MRS. ELLEN WOODWARD

Friends and relatives in Texarkana were advised Thursday night of the death at her home in Mineral Wells, Texas, of MRS. ELLEN WOODWARD, 84, former resident of Texarkana.

Besides her husband, A. (ASA) L.(LAWRENCE) WOODWARD, she is survived by three sons, JOHN, WALKER, of Mineral Wells, JOE H. of Texarkana; four daughters, MRS. MINNIE DAVIS, MRS. SALLIE C. SMITH, MRS. LUCY FAY SEAMON, Mineral Wells, MRS. MAUDE BUETTNER, Texarkana. Ten children were born to the union, three having died.

Mr. and Mrs. WOODWARD were married at Scotts Hill, Tenn., in 1871. They moved to Texas in 1891, settling near Corpus Christi, and in 1913 moved to Texarkana, where they made their home until 1918 when they went to Mineral Wells.

Funeral services were held Friday at 2 p.m. at Mineral Wells with burial there.
