Fred E. Pollard, 60, a resident of 231 Pool road, Biddeford, died Monday evening at his home following a long illness.

He was born in Dracut, Mass., the son of Fred Eben Pollard, I and Isabelle Boynton Park Pollard and attended schools there. He has been associated with his brother in the restaurant business for 35 years.

He lived in this area for five years and in Sanford, 15 years prior to coming to Biddeford.

Mr. Pollard was a member of St. John lodge, F. and A. M., Hartford; Royal Arch chapter, Sanford; Bethany Commandery, Knights - Templar, Sanford, and Clover chapter, OES, Sanford.

He is survived by his widow the former Louise Hutchins; three sons, Fred, III., Parma, Calif., David E., Presque Isle, and John T., Biddeford; one daughter, Mrs Patricia Pepin, Sanford; two brothers, Orville Brooks Pollard, Biddeford, and Roy Arthur Pollard
