Margaret Poff Sink Moran, 84, of Salem, passed away quietly on Thursday, February 28, 2002.

She was a lifelong Salem resident, and was a charter member of Bethel Baptist Church where she enjoyed being a participant in many of their activities.

Her surviving family include her husband, John C. Moran; sons and daughters-in-law, Tommy and Rosemary Sink, Jerry and Sue Sink; stepson, Don and Aretta Moran; grandchildren, Mark Sink, Chera Sink, Tracy and husband, Robert Martin; a great-granddaughter, Kerrington Martin; stepgrandchildren, Timmy and Leon Moran, Patty Hylton, Linda Brown.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 2, 2002, 12 noon in Bethel Baptist Church in Salem with Dr. Thomas S. Cribb officiating. Burial will follow in Sherwood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the John M. Oakey & Son Salem Funeral Home on Friday from 6 to 9 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Salem Volunteer Rescue Squad, P.O. Box 291, Salem, Va. Arrangements by John M. Oakey & Son Salem Funeral Home.
