After lying unconsclous for nearly two days, death came yesterday afternoon ended the suffering of James L Air-heart of this city, age 45 years, 2 months and 10 days. He had been suffering for years from diabetes and for the last year had been in very poor health, The attack which brought the end came about, two weeks ago. He leaves a wife, two children and two step-children and other relatives. He was born January 20, 1869 and in 1876 the family moved to Barton county, locating in this city and living here the most of the time with the exception of a few years when they lived on one of the Hulme farms and when they operated the county farm.
The deceased was married June 19, 1910 to Margaret Lucas, who with two children survive him. For the last 15 years or more he had been an employee first in the Hume mill and later was fireman at the electric light plant until a year ago when he resigned and became foreman at the Hume mill. He leaves beside his widow, his mother, two brothers, Sam of this city, will of Canton, Ohio, two sisters. Mrs. Chas. Spall and Miss Tennessee, who lives in this city with the mother, and two half-brothers, Andy Ruble of this city and John Ruble of Redwing.
