S. E. Englebert
Searcy E. Englebert, 65, of 232 Crescent Ridge Rd. died Friday night at Druid City Hospital. Funeral services will be held today at 3 p.m. at Holten Heights Nazarene Church.
The Rev. C. B. Carlton and the Rev. H. C. Tubbs will officiate. Burial will be in Tuscaloosa Memorial Park. Memory Chapel Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Englebert is survived by the widow, Mrs. Clara Englebert; two sons, S. E. Englebert Jr. of Mobile and William L. B. Englebert of Tuscaloosa; a brother, Mack Jordan of Demopolis; a step-father, M. J. W. Jordan of Tuscaloosa; seven grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Active pallbearers include T. A. Hill Jr., J. W. Hill, Grover Gene Hill, Eddie Smith, Elmer Krebs and Billy Tweatt.
Honorary pallbearers include Dr. Albert Tatum, Temo Callahan, Chaplain Elias Callahan, Jerry Tweatt, John Will, Tommy Styron, Virgil Browning, Jimmy Massey, Tedd Bearden, Doland Madison, members of the Holten Heights Nazarene Church and members of the Men's Bible Class of the church and employees of Druid City Hospital.
The body will be in state at the church from 2 p.m. today until the time of service.
