Amy Goldman

Mrs. Amy Goldman, 86, of 1305 K Street, Bedford, died at 10:00 p.m. Wednesday at Dunn Memorial Hospital.

Mrs. Goldman was active in many organizations and was a member of the Bedford First United Methodist Church, Eastern Star, White Shrine, Womens Relief Corps, Grandmothers Club, Rebekah Lodge, Pythian Sisters, American Legion Auxiliary, Veterans of World War One Auxiliary, and Royal Neighbors of America.

She was born May 15, 1888, in Bedford, the daughter of John T. and Elmira Huffman Fowler,

She was thrice married, first to Charles A. Acton in 1911, and he died in 1942; second to Charles T. Smith in 1945, and he died in 1952, and third to Icil Goldman in 1958, and he died in 1966.

Surviving is a grandson, Robert D. Malott of Orange, Calif. A daughter, Ruth Malott, preceded her in death.

Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Saturday at the Ferguson-Lee Funeral Home, with Rev. Ronald Mercer officiating. Burial will be in Cresthaven Memory Gardens. Friends may call at the funeral home after 2:00 p.m. Friday.
