Donna was born in Jackson County, Indiana on October 23, 1929, the daughter of the late Ralph and Ruby (Lutes) Anderson.
On September 10, 1947 in Brownstown, she married Jack Heiman, who passed away June 24, 2015.
She was a member of Surprise Christian Church and the Southern Indiana Center for the Arts. She graduated from Cortland High School class of 1947. She was a beautician for over 40 years in the community. Donna worked for Marion Kay Spices as a tour guide in their art department. She also worked for Disque Carpet and the art department at Dicksons. She enjoyed her hobby of being an artist.
Donna is survived by her children, Dennis (Cindy) Heiman, Debra (Dale) Shelly; four grandchildren, Susan Jackson, Jason (Gabbi) Kindred, Erica Bohn, and David Shelly; five great grandchildren, Savannah Todd, Tiffany Michaud, Jake Bohn, Scout Bohn and Logan Shelly, two great great grandchildren, Irelande Michaud and Gunner Michaud, brother, Jim Anderson, sisters Dorothy Crouch, Clara Claycamp, and Carol Gray Nicholson.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, grandson, T.J. Heiman, sister, Emma Sorley, brother, Jack Anderson, and two infant brothers.
Funeral Service will be held at Voss & Sons Funeral Service on Thursday, March 15th at 11:00 a.m., with Reverend Nelson Lee and Reverend Rick Grant, officiating.
Family and friends may call at Voss & Sons Funeral Service on Wednesday, March 14th from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. and Thursday after 10:00 a.m. until time of service.
Voss & Sons Funeral service will conduct the graveside service at Acme Cemetery.
