ROCHELLE - Raymond Leroy Coffman, 69, of 1245 Springdale, Rochelle, died Dec. 2, in Rochelle Community Hospital.

He was a former Ashton area resident and a retired farmer.

Mr. Coffman was born Nov. 15, 1912 in Chana, the son of Charles and Wardena Zell Coffman. He married the former Aletta Eich Dec. 6, 1933.

He was a member of Faith Lutheran Church.

Surviving are his wife; three sons, James, Stillman Valley; Wayne, Ashton; and Donald, Rockford; two daughters, Mrs. George (Marilyn) Primrose and Mrs. Robert (Linda) Daub, both of Rochelle; 13 grandchildren; his mother, Mrs. Wardean Coffman of Mt. Morris; two brothers, Elmer, Mt. Morris and Gene, and two sisters; Mrs. Howard (Bernice) Pumfrey and Mrs. Nelson (Helen) Cannon, both of Oregon.

He was preceded in death by his father, five brothers, and one sister.

Funeral services are 10 a.m. Friday in Faith Lutheran Church. The Rev. John Place will officiate and burial will be in Trinity Memory Gardens.

Visitation is 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. today in the Cluts-Simes Funeral Home, Rochelle.
