Christiana (Muth) Koethe was the daughter of Godfried Muth and Christianna (Kaiser) Muth, she was born Nov. 07, 1820 in Saxon, Germany and died July 14, 1909 in Hampton Township, Allegheny County, Pa.
Christiana, her husband Christian, and their five children, immigrated to the United States arriving in New York on July 24, 1871 aboard the ship Deutschland. They settled in Allegheny County, Pa.
Christiana died of Heat exhaustion & senile dibility. (Information from her death certificate signed by George F. Roberts)

1. Louis H. "L.H." Koethe, born Sept 3, 1849 in Gross Thurow, Germany.
2. Frank. H. Koethe, born about 1858 in Gross Thurow Germany.
3. Karl Charles F. Koethe, born 1859 in Gross Thurow, Germany.
4. John Hermann "Herman" Koethe, born 1862 in Gross Thurow, Germany.
5. Emilie Koethe, born November 1864 in Gross Thurow, germany.
