Felix Leo Cupit Jr., 90, passed away Friday, March 2, 2018 in Richmond. He was born July 25, 1927 in McCall Creek, Mississippi to Felix and Eddis Cupit. Felix was a longtime member, Deacon and member of the Golden Heirs and loved singing with them at Calvary Baptist Church. He liked to fish, garden and do handyman projects. He loved his grandchildren and gospel music, especially the Gaithers.
Survivors include his son, Steve Cupit and wife Nancy, his brother, Roy Cupit and wife Esteen, 3 grandchildren, Christy Cupit, Mandy Gill and husband Cody, Colby Cupit, 3 great grandchildren, MaKinzie, Maggie and Conner Gill.
Felix was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Imogene and his sister, Marie Griffin.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, March 6, 2018 at 2:00 P.M. at Calvary Baptist Church with Pastor Ronald Vickers presiding. Burial will follow in Greenlawn memorial Park. Visitation will Monday evening, March 5, 2018 from 5-8 P.M. in the stateroom at Davis Greenlawn Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Calvary Baptist Church Building Fund 4111 Airport Blvd. Rosenberg, TX 77471.
