Funeral services for Julia Evelyn Ebarb, 81, will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, March 2, 2018 at St. Ann Catholic Church in Stonewall, LA with Father John Paul Crispin, F.M.H. officiating. Interment will follow in St. Ann Cemetery in Ebarb, LA. Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m. Thursday, March 1, 2018 with a Rosary following at 6:00 p.m. at Rose-Neath Southside Chapel.

Julia was born October 9, 1936 in Hope Villa, LA to Henry Houston and Jennie Lacobee and passed away on February 24, 2018 in Shreveport.

Julia was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Rupert Ebarb; sister, Mary Ellen Thigpen; brothers, David Lacobee and H.H. Lacobee, Jr.; and great-great-grandson, Aiyden James Burns. Left to cherish her memory are daughters, Theresa Garrison Smith and Stephanie Garrison Smith; sisters, Linda Lacobee Howard and Jennie Lacobee Wright (Ron); five grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to the Epilepsy Foundation of Louisiana.

The family would like to give a special thanks to Linda Howard and the staff at The Bradford.

Julia had a smile for everyone. She will be remembered for her smile and sweet and gentle spirit. She will be sadly missed but never forgotten.
