Elizabeth married Daniel Deegan on 27 September 1848 in Quebec and together, they had five known children. The original text (in French) of their marriage lists her parents as James Kelly and Ellen Binke.
On the 1861 Census of Canada, she's listed as "M.E. Dugan" so her first name may have been something starting with an "M" such as Mary.
On the 1881 Census of Canada, she's still in Quebec and listed as "Elizabethh Diggain" and her sons John, Thomas and Patrick are all residing with her.
The record of her burial is from Quebec, Vital and Church Records (Drouin Collection), 1621-1967 and the transcribed entry is below:
"On the twenty-fifth day of February, eighteen hundred and ninety seven, we the undersigned priests have interred in the cemetery of this church the body of Elizabeth O'Kelly wife of the late Daniel Deegan. Aged seventy-two years. Deceased on the twenty-first instant. Cause of death: Chronic Bronchitis."
