Earl Frederick Harvey, 76, formerly of Terre Haute, died Tuesday, April 25, 2006, in Cascade, Mont. Until very recently, he had been living in Dugger.

He was born Nov. 21, 1929, in Terre Haute to Lewis L. Harvey and Gertrude Jenkins Harvey.

Survivors include three daughters, Debra Poteat and her husband, Bruce of Norman, Okla., Elizabeth Aumiller and her husband, Lawrence of Springfield, Ill., and Rebecca Harris and her husband, Jim of Vallejo, Calif.; four sons, Phillip Harvey of Virginia Beach, Va., Patrick Harvey and his wife, Kathryn of Springfield, Danny Harvey of Decatur, Ill., and James Notter; grandchildren, Kimberly Whitecotton of Terre Haute, Lindsey and Lacey Poteat, both of Norman, Anna, Christopher and Natasha Smith, all of Springfield, and George Smith, serving in the U.S. Army; great-grandchildren, Trenton and Travis Whitecotton, both of Terre Haute, and Logan Poteat of Norman; brothers, Robert R. Harvey of Arlington, Texas, Richard G. Harvey, and Charles Harvey and his wife, Thelma, all of Indianapolis; sisters, Gertrude H. Bristow, and Alice “Betty” Fulk and her husband, Carl, all of Terre Haute, and Margaret “Peggy” Nagy and her husband, George of Clinton. He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Howard A.L. Harvey, Thomas L.J. Harvey and John W. Harvey; and one grandson, Jimmy Notter.

He was a veteran, serving 10 years with the U.S. Air Force.

Graveside services will be conducted later in Terre Haute. Croxford Funeral Home and Crematory in Great Falls, Mont., assisted with arrangements.
