Orville E. Mueller, 84, rural Algoma, passed away, Wed. Aug. 30, 2017 at Anna's House in Sturgeon Bay. He was born in the Town of Clay Banks on July 1, 1933 to Andrew and Alvina (Luedtke) Mueller.
Orville lived in the Town of Clay Banks his whole life. He was baptized and confirmed at St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Forestville. He worked at Plumbers Woodwork in Algoma for 23 years, while farming most of his life.
Orville married Carole Neinas on June 18, 1955 at Emanuel Lutheran Church in Kolberg.
Orville loved to play cards, visit with family, neighbors and friends, driving his Farmal "A" tractor and his John Deere Gator and was a good customer at the Village Kitchen in Casco.
Orville is survived by his wife Carole, three sons Gerald Mueller (Sandy Glish), Green Bay; Michael (Barb) Mueller, Forestville; and Dale (Linda) Mueller, Sturgeon Bay; grandchildren Monica (Chris) Mackey, Milissa Mueller (Ryan Kaye), Sara Mueller, Megan (Brad) Goldrick, Ashley (Dan) Rankin, Brandon Mueller, Derek (Jean) Mueller, Travis Mueller (Bailey Baudhuin) and Andrew (Kacie) Mueller; step-grandchildren Jonathan (Sarah) Neuville and Jason (Jill) Neuville; seven great grandchildren; one brother and three sisters -in-law Goldie (Corrine) Mueller, Algoma; Helen Mueller, Baileys Harbor; Betty Mueller, New Franken; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Earl (Ruth) Neinas, Sturgeon Bay and Susan (Duane) (Corky) Corbisier, Sturgeon Bay.
He was preceded in death by his parents, seven brothers and one sister-in-law Wilbur (Lorraine), Orlan, Robert, Marvin, Lloyd, Lee and infant Mueller.
Family and friends may call at the SCHINDERLE FUNERAL HOME, Algoma, Monday, Sept. 4, 2017 from 4 PM - 8 PM and after 9 AM, Tuesday, at St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Forestville until the time of services at 11 AM with Rev. Dr. Christopher Jackson officiating. Prayer service 7 PM Monday at the funeral home. Burial to follow in the church cemetery.
