KERSTING, ALBERT, 79, of South Louisville, passed from this life on Friday February 12, 2010 at Sts. Mary & Elizabeth Hospital.
He was a retired employee of the old Oscar Ewing Dairy, a member of Local 783, the Senior Club at the Salvation Army, Most Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, and a Navy veteran.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years, two daughters, a son, six grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
A mass to celebrate Mr. Kersting's life will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Most Blessed Sacrament, 3509 Taylor Blvd., with burial to follow in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be at the Arch L. Heady & Son Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 3601 Taylor Blvd. from 2-8 p.m. Monday.
