Charlene Alexander Haley, age 88, passed with peace and grace on February 14, 2018 at her home in Nampa, Idaho, with her loving daughters at her side. She was preceded in death by Bob Alexander in 1988 and Gene Haley in 2009 and grandson Jason in 2014. From her union with Bob she was blessed with three daughters, Linda (Glen) Brown, Nancy Hobbs and Judy (Jim) Hlavaty; seven grandchildren, George Brown, Jeremy and Jonathan Hobbs, Charlene, Brian, and Aaron Cable and ten great grandchildren, all whom she loved dearly.

Charlene was born in Duncan, Oklahoma on February 10, 1930 and moved to California at a young age. As a teenager living in the Salinas Valley she met and fell in love with Bob and they were married in 1948. All her energy was focused upon her husband and raising her three daughters.

She was a loving mother who was involved in the PTA, Mother's Club, 4-H and the Parent's Booster Club of Alisal High School. Camping and fishing were two of her favorite activities.

With the passing of Bob she married Gene Haley in 1989 and lived in Arnold, California and Las Vegas, Nevada before settling in Nampa, Idaho.

She will always be remembered as a generous and loving mother, grandmother and granny whose greatest passions were her family, helping others and being a faithful servant of her Lord Jesus Christ. She was a faithful member of the Nampa Sovereign Grace Baptist Church. She leaves us rich in precious memories. Graveside services will be handled by Healey Mortuary on Saturday, February 24th at 11:00 a.m. at the Garden of Memories Cemetery, 768 Abbott Street, Salinas, Ca.

Pastor Glen A. Brown of the Nampa Sovereign Grace Baptist Church will be officiating.

The family is requesting that any donations be made to the charity of your choice.
