Mr. Coral Byington died of paralysis Sunday, July 14 at Portlan,. Ionia county, aged 90 years, three months and three days. Mr. Byington formerly lived here and was one of the early settlers who endured the many trials subjected to those who cleared the wilderness, coming to Michigan from Connecticut. The deceased left Galesburg about 25 years ago and has of late made his home with Mrs. Smith, a daughter, at Portland where he died. Mr. Byington was an uncle of Mrs. G. M. Gates of Galesburg. The remains were brought here for interment on the 12:55 train Tuesday, accompanied by Mr. Smith the deceased's son-in-Iaw. Burial was at Riverside cemetery by the side of his wife. Rev.
