Naomi Henry of Yuba City, CA, passed into the loving arms of her Heavenly Father August 10, 2017. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Bartow Franklin Mills, of Douglas, GA, and her second husband of 40 years, John Henry, of Yuba City, CA. Also preceding her in death are her parents; John and Minnie Dora Lott Adams, her 8 siblings; Willard Adams, Ruby Adams Copeland, Olan Adams, Dianthia Adams, Elsie Adams Sharp, Rupert Alvin Adams, Elnora Adams Harper, Grace Adams Cannon and her sons; Derald Kenneth Mills, Stanley Keith Mills, stepdaughter Johan Henry Jensen, stepson Jerry Henry, and step granddaughter Andrea Henry.

Surviving is her son, John Rodney Mills and wife, Mary of Johns Creek, GA; her daughters-in-law Judy Kay Mills of Douglas, GA, and Diana Mills of Richmond, KY; her stepsons Mike Henry and wife Francie of Corning, CA and Richard Henry and wife Jo Anne of Spanish Fork, UT; her stepdaughter-in-law Myrna Henry of Oroville, CA (who provided Naomi with the devotion, attention and care only a daughter would give) and her stepson-in- law Leonard Jensen of Asheville, NC.

Naomi was truly blessed in her marriage to John. She was surrounded by twenty-four step grandchildren, eighty-nine step great-grandchildren and five step great-great-grandchildren.

She farmed with Bartow in Coffee, Co. GA, and owned and operated the I Like It Restaurant in Douglas, GA. She married John in 1966, and moved to CA. She carried her southern voice and style with her. She never met a stranger. She and John raised mink in Oregon, ran a dairy in Oklahoma, and she won blue ribbons for her pies at the Colorado State Fair. She did it all with charm and a smile that told her family she loved them unconditionally. That love they share, and will keep forever. We will all miss her wit and her wisdom.
