If you are reading this, I apparently have "bitten the big one" after a long battle with MDS on February 6, 2018. I chose to write my own obituary because, quite frankly, it would not be fair to leave this task to any of my remaining survivors. Life may not be fair, but it's been good!

I was born in Warren, MN on July 31, 1949 to Raymond and Isabel (Grembowski) Kurowski.

Most of my childhood years were spent in St. Hilaire, MN and after my dad passed away, my mother remarried Clarence Sten (a wonderful man) from Stephen MN where I graduated in 1967.

I attended the Rasmussen School of Business in St. Paul and later worked as a keypunch operator for the Minnesota Education Association.

I married Norman Terry Johnson in 1968 and in 1969 gave birth to my daughter, Michelle. We later divorced and in 1974 , I married my true love, Raymond Kuster, who later adopted Michelle.

I was last employed by Edjon Data Services from 1988 to 2015 where those 20+ years gifted me with a second family, Bill & Heather O'Keefe, Mike & Cindy O'Keefe, Tim O'Keefe, Nancy (O'Keefe) and Jerry Bugliosi

My survivors are my grandchildren, Atlanta and Jett; Brothers, Butch (Donna) Kurowski and Dale Kurowski; Sisters, Pam (Loren) Kuster and Peggy (John) Rieniets. I would also like to include Larry Hondl, Allen Donais, Brian and Patty Qvammen.

I was preceded in death by my husband, Ray; daughter, Michelle; my parents and
stepfather.

Memorial Services will be 11:00 AM Friday, February 9, 2018 in Amundson Funeral Home of Grand Forks. Visitation will be for the hour before the service in the funeral home. Burial will be in Memorial Park South Cemetery of Grand Forks.
