John Edward Belk, Sr., age 74, of Belmont, was a son to the late Lawrence Edward and Roberta Miller Belk. He was also predeceased by his loving wife of 46 years, Martha Jean Beal Belk; daughter, Semantha Belk Anthony; three sisters and one brother.
John was a beloved member of Unity Baptist Church and was one who put others ahead of himself. He will be greatly missed.
Interment in Hillcrest Gardens.
