Kathy married James Elroy Warren on March 11, 1966 in Millington, Tennessee. She worked for years as a cook in the food service industry. She loved animals, was past president of the Salem VFW Auxillary Post #9777 and was of the Baptist faith. Kathy was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great great grandmother.
She leaves to mourn her passing; four sons, Rickey Allen Grootonk of Sturkie, Arkansas, Steven Jay Warren of Viola, Arkansas, Ralph Berry Warren of Sun City, Arizona and James Edward Warren of San Diego, California; six daughters, Marie Elena Grootonk of Salem, Arkansas, Debra Ann Yaney of Olympia, Washington, Teresa Lynn Grootonk of Edmonds, Washington, Melonie Lavonne Priestly of Sun City, Arizona, Barbara Jennette Davis of Box Elder, South Dakota and Darlene Grootonk of Ketchican, Alaska; brother, Harold Leroy Ralph of Yuma, Arizona; two sisters, Shirley May Allen of Mohave Valley, Arizona and Barbara Lou Kilts of San Diego, California; many grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren and other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her husband, parents, two daughters (Martha and Regina), two brothers (Richard and Lyle) and sister (Wilma).
Graveside services will be 1:00 P.M. February 9, 2018 at Fairview Cemetery in Salem, Arkansas with Matthew Miller officiating. Visitation will be 6:00 – 8:00 P.M. Thursday, February 8, 2018 at Barker Funeral Home in Salem, Arkansas. Memorials may be made to Rescue One in Springfield, Missouri. Arrangements are under the direction of Barker Funeral Home of Salem, Arkansas.
