"Mrs Lodema Lamberton Archer, widow of the late John N Archer, died suddenly at 10:15 o'clock last night at her home, 724 West Spring street. She was born on October 9, 1855, at Sunville, and was a member of the Methodist church there. Mr Archer died in 1926. The deceased leaves a daughter, Mrs Anna L Mulvey at home, and a son, Roy Archer of Titusville; also two grandchildren. Several nephews and nieces also survive. The body will be taken from the William M Curtis funeral home to the late residence this afternoon, where friends may call. Funeral arrangements will be announced..."

"Funeral services in memory of Mrs Lodema Archer were conducted yesterday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Sunville Methodist church, following a prayer service at the Curtis funeral home at 1:30 pm. Rev J L Murray officiated, assisted by Rev Albert Broadhurst. Rev Murray read the hymns 'Lead, Kindly Light' and 'O Happy Day.' Pall-bearers were George Porter, Guy Porter, Harry Dighton, Charles Corsini, Elmer Foster and Lawrence Ward. Those who attended from out-of-town were Mr and Mrs George Porter, Mrs Margaret Boyle and daughter, all of Warren. Interment was in the Sunville cemetery."
