Mrs. Christine Beck McCoy, age 80, of Vidalia, died Saturday, February 3, 2018, in the University Hospital in Augusta, after an extended illness. She was a native of Wheeler County and grew up in the Landsburg Community. She lived in Toombs County most of her life and in Augusta for the past four years. She worked at Jack’s Drive Inn for several years and with Globe Manufacturing and Toombs Manufacturing Company for many years. She was Baptist by faith. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard McCoy, Sr.; parents, John and Docia Butler Beck; one brother, Russell Beck; and one sister, Evelyn Beck Joyner.
The funeral service will be held Thursday, February 8th at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Ronald V. Hall Funeral Home with Pastor Albert White and Pastor Irvin Murphy officiating. Burial will follow in the Pinecrest Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday evening from 6:00 until 8:00.
