Cindee Bonahoom, age 68, of Fort Wayne passed away on Thursday, February 1, 2018 at her Fort Wayne home.

Cindee was born on July 29, 1949 in Garrett to Aden and Opal (King) Carper. She graduated from Garrett High School in 1967.

She married Philip Saleem Bonahoom Jr. on November 11, 2000. He resides in Fort Wayne.

Cindee worked at Magnavox in Garrett, Auburn and Columbia City for 8 years. She also worked for ITT Aerospace in Fort Wayne for 18 years and Jo Ann’s Fabric in Fort Wayne for 7 years. She was a member of Tri Kappa of DeKalb County, DeKalb County 4 H, Cedar Creek Tractor Club and Northeast Indiana Steam and Gas Association.

She loved to sew, quilt and cross stitch. She collected baskets, fabric of all kinds, Coca Cola memorabilia, jig saw puzzles and anything pertaining to Christmas, especially Christmas movies. She loved her grandkids and never missed a play, musical or sporting event that they were participating in.

Her husband; Philip Bonahoom of Fort Wayne.
Son and daughter-in-law; Shawn and Lisa Smith of Auburn.
Daughter; Gretchen Smith of Fort Wayne.
Daughter and son-in-law; Hollie and Robert Ochoa of Fort Wayne.
Stepson; Philip Scott Bonahoom and Melissa Cuellar of Fort Wayne.
9 grandchildren; Drew and Jonita Smith, Shani Smith, Kenadie Smith, Garrett Lloyde, Jacey Lloyd, Hayden Ochoa, Alex Ochoa, Nora Kay Bonahoom and Scott Nicholas Bonahoom.
2 great grandchildren; Kylie Smith and Jaxson Smith.
Brother; Tom Carper of Pensacola, Florida.
Sister and brother-in-law; Jody and Tom Reade of South Bend.
Sister and brother-in-law; Melinda (Pip) and Jim Dunn of Waterloo.
Brother and sister-in-law; Hank and Lynda Carper of Auburn.
Sister; Lori Keck of Fort Wayne.
Many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister-in-law; Anne Carper.

Visitation will be held on Monday, February 5, 2018 from 3:00 to 7:00 PM at the Feller and Clark Funeral Home, 1860 South Center Street in Auburn.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, February 6, 2018 at 2:00 PM at the Feller and Clark Funeral Home in Auburn.

Officiating the funeral service will be Pastor Ray Harris with The Pointe Church in Fort Wayne.

Burial will take place in Roselawn Cemetery in Auburn.
