Mary was daughter of Willian Howard Cozzens and Katherine Louisa Dudek (Cozzens Wentworth St. Clair), wife of Benjamin Cable and mother to Shirley, Betty, Doris, Ruth, Jack and Bill. She was granddaughter of Joseph Dudek of Red Willow, Nebraska,and Eliza (Lizzie) Hochstettler Phillippi Dudek and Anderson and Mary Margaret Cozzens. She was the step-daughter of Hiram Wentworth, second husband of her mother Catherine Louisa Dudek. She also lost her first child, Robert H. Cable, to a difficult labor and delivery on Dec. 3, 1924 with the baby passing on Dec. 7, 1924. She passed away on December 27, 1936, in Cambria County, Johnstown, PA, at age 27 from pneumonia and complications of childbirth. She is buried in Grandview Cemetary next to husband, Benjamin Cable in the Wentworth family plot. Her grave does not have a headstone. She also had a brother Arthur Cousins who died in 1921 in Pennsylvania and another brother Russell. Arthur is buried in the Dudek family plot. Her son, Robert, is buried in the central section of Grandview Cemetery.
