Mrs. Shirley J. Collins, 50, Cairnbrook RD 1, died March 4, 1976, in Windber Hospital. Born Jan. 24, 1926, in Cambria County, daughter of the late Benjamin and Mary (Cozzens) Cable. Preceded in death by husband, Joseph G. Collins Sr.; an infant son, one sister and one brother. Survived by these children: Joseph Jr., David, Nancy Mains and Richard, all of Cairnbrook; Robert, Central City; Betty Nancarvis, Acosta; Katherine Kralik, Johnstown; Gary, Dennis, Debra, Beverly and Christine, at home; 16 grandchildren. Sister of: John of Cairnbrook, Ruth Spangler, Bedford; Doris Peruso, Johnstown; and William, U.S. Air Force, Korea. Family received friends Friday evening and will receive friends from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Saturday at Charles R. Deaner Funeral Home, Stoystown, where services will be conducted at 2:30 p.m Sunday, the Rev. W.J. Klinger officiating. Interment, Glade Cemetery.
