Mrs. Wilcox was born and raised in the Foscoe Community, a daughter of the late Roy and Gladys Taylor Aldridge, and was a dedicated member of Watauga Baptist Church.
Affectionately known as Sis, Mary spread love and light to everyone she met. She was happiest when her family was together, often sharing a delicious meal that she prepared. When she wasn't cooking, she loved spending time at the beach and gardening. No one loved quite as genuinely and unconditionally as Sis, and she has left a legacy that continues to spread that love.
