She was born in Seattle, Washington, to Hudsul Melvin and Idella June (Caldwell) Payne. She moved from Seattle to Kirkland, Washington, then on to Eugene and finally to Sweet Home.
Deloris had worked as a beautician, bank teller and computer board assembler.
She enjoyed arts and crafts, gardening, reading, decorating and animals. She loved her family and friends.
Deloris is survived by her husband, George Burton Green of Sweet Home; children: Milton and wife Kandi Green of Jackson, Georgia, Laura Green of Modesto, California, Teresa Green Owens of Sweet Home, Michael and wife Rebecca Green of Monroe, Washington, and Idella and husband Don Davis of Snohomish, Washington; nine grandchildren: Dawn, Ezra, Anna, Lynne, Mindy, Richard, Joshua, George and Jacob; and nine great-grandchildren: William, Chandler, Steven, Braden, Zachery, Nicholas, Sebastion, Jason and Krystel.
She was preceded in death by grandchildren: Heather Davis in 2009, and Mitchel and Michael Owens in 1984.
A recitation of the rosary will be 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 18, with the Memorial Mass following at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 18, at St. Helen's Catholic Church in Sweet Home.
Memorial contributions can be made in her name to Goodwill, Salvation Army, Gleaners or the Red Hat Ladies.
