Mary and Clarion were blessed with six children. They loved being parents and they were very good at it. They were long time members of Memorial Lutheran Church in Nevada. They moved to their life long home across from the 4-H grounds in 1949. Their home was full of love and joy. Family and friends were always welcome. Mary was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed being a homemaker and worked occasionally at Donnelley Marketing in Nevada. Mary enjoyed baking, especially cookies and kringla. Her home reflected her creative talents, including many beautiful porcelain dolls which she made. Her beautiful yard full of flowers reflected her love for gardening

Camping was the highlight of every summer; Mary and Clarion traveled all over the U.S. Her family enjoyed spending time together whether it was hearing the many stories of life on the farm, a fun game of cards or a cup of coffee.

Mary was a kind and loving lady. She had a great attitude with a love for the Lord and the people who shared her life.
