Margie married Paul Fessler in Clark County, WA Nov. 6, 1944. She was listed as Margie Dupree. I do not know if that was her maiden name or a previous married name?
After writing the above I finally discovered that Margie was on the 1940 census living in Portland with her two children June and Jack and listed as Margie Dupree, born IL and though it said she was married there was no husband on the census with her. Either they were separated or he was off somewhere else for some reason. He may have been in the military and gotten killed in action later during WW2? In 1944 she remarried. The following funeral notice says that she was the sister of Robert Wallace. I would suppose that Wallace than was Margie's maiden name, unless her and this brother Robert had different father's? According to a file on Ancestry.com, Margie's maiden name was Wallace.
In looking at details, it appears that Margie was first married to a man with the last name of White. In the following funeral notice it says Margie was survived by two children John and June. I believe her son's name as John was a mistake since everywhere else you find mention of him, he is called Jack. It could be Jack was a nickname??
There is a small stone next to the large upright gravestone for Margie and her husband Paul Fessler, for a Mary W. Haynes and the name of a child Mary Erwin Haynes. I believe this Mary W. Haynes was the wife possibly of the John E. Haynes mentioned in the tragic death story of the Mary Erwin Haynes who is buried with Mary W. Haynes. I also suspect that Margie is related in some way to this Mary W. Haynes.
