Born in Cranston, Rhode Island, September 26, 1923, he was the son of the late Archibald and Elizabeth (Rose) Crabb.
He served his country in the US Army during WW II. He was a career mechanic and farmer and a lover of family, friends and life.
He is survived by his four children, Ellen A. Hefler and husband John, Mary E. Bannister, Linda J. and Richard A. Arnold and his fiance Denise Tucker, two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He was the brother of the late William, Robert and Walter Arnold and Mary (Arnold) Streeter.
The funeral and burial will be at New Fernwood Cemetery, West Kingston, RI, Wednesday, January 31, 2018 at 11:00 AM.
In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to South County VNS Home Health, 14 Woodruff Ave, Wakefield, RI, 02879 or Hope Health and Hospice South Team 143 Main Street, Wakefield, RI, 02879 . A Celebration of his Life will be held late summer/early fall 2018.
