She was a retired teacher, having taught at Hiwassee College, Madisonville High School, and retiring from Sweetwater High School in 1984.
Preceded in death by husband, Robert A. (Bob) Scott; son, James Richard (Jim) Scott; parents, D.C. and Greta Sliger; sisters, Elizabeth Sliger Brown, and Lanelle Sliger Smith. Survivors:
