Alice C. Gillespie passed away on January 22, 2018 in St. George.

Alice was born April 24, 1936 to Myron H. and Mildred G. Chipman.

She married the love of her life, David R. Gillespie, on May 6, 1961. Together, they had four children.

Alice worked for many years as a secretary and office manager; she enjoyed golfing and when they retired, they moved to Santa Clara. She loved watching her family grow.

She is survived by her children, Mark Gillespie, Susan (Tim) Mills, Jennifer (Shawn) Reddington, and Karen (Troy) Jones; nine grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a brother, Carl Chipman. Preceding her in death is her husband, Dave; parents; brothers, Wendell, Dick, George, and Darrell; and sisters, Evva and Joyce.

The family would like to thank the staff at The Meadows memory care for their outstanding service.

Graveside services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Monday, January 29, 2018 at Larkin Sunset Lawn Cemetery, 2350 East 1300 South, Salt Lake City. A gathering will be held on Sunday, January 28, 2018 from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. at Serenity Funeral Home, 12278 South Lone Peak Parkway #103, Draper.
