Mr. Eston Bruce Bramlett, age 86, of Suches, GA passed away Monday September 3, 2012. Born in the Margaret Community, GA he was the son of the late James Bruce and Velma Hunt Bramlett. He served his country during WWII in the United States Army and honorably discharged from the 11th Airborne. He owned and operated Bramletts Service Station in Lakewood for many years. Mr. Bramlett was a member of the Ocoee Lodge in Morganton, GA and a member of the Salem #1 "Sugar Hill" Baptist Church.
His brother, Hubert Bramlett also precedes him death.
Survivors include his wife Anne Woody Bramlett of sixty one years of the home; children and their spouses, Lesa B. and Ronnie Tipton of Suches, GA and Eston "Bruce" Bramlett, Jr. and wife Donna Pettett Bramlett of Marietta, GA; grandchildren, Doug Tipton, Renee Carder, Justin Bramlett and Rachel Bramlett; great grandchildren, Aiden Carder, Isaac Tipton, Ashton Carder and Aric Carder; sisters, Ethel Seabolt of Suches and Evelyn Panter of Blue Ridge.
Funeral Services will be conducted Wednesday September 5, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. from the Akins funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jerry Johnson officiating. Interment will follow in the Salem #1 Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Eric Davenport officiating. The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers: Doug Tipton, Jerry Seabolt, Robin Seabolt, Keith Bramlett, Chuck Panter and Tony Daves. The following gentlemen will serve as honorary pallbearers: Dee Horton, Bob Long, Steve Bramlett, and Jack Cogswell. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 12:00 p.m. until the funeral hour. In Lieu of Flowers donations may be made to the Salem #1 Sugar Hill Baptist Church Cemetery Fund or to the Georgia Mountains Hospice.
