William Bill Thomas Hearnsberger, Sr., of El Dorado, passed away, Tuesday, Jan. 23, 2018, at his residence. He was born Oct. 13, 1934, to James Robert and Hazel House Hearnsberger in Thornton.
Bill retired as Vice President of J.A. West Company, where he worked for over 35 years. Later he worked as manager of Bank and Business Systems in El Dorado.
He was an active member of St. Marys Episcopal Church serving terms on the Vestry.
Preceding him in death were his parents; son, W.T. Tom Hearnsberger, Jr.; his first wife, Barbara West Hearnsberger; step son-in-law, Roger Dollar; sister, Martha Thomason; and two brothers, Robert Dude Hearnsberger, and Derwood Buck Hearnsberger.
Survivors include his wife, Jan Hearnsberger of El Dorado; sons, David Hearsnberger (Evelyn) of El Dorado, Mike Hearnsberger of Norphlet, Jon Hearnsberger of San Diego, California; step daughters, Jennifer Stone (Paul) of El Dorado, Lara Dollar of Orlando, Florida; and three grandchildren, Jake Hearnsberger, Nathan Hearnsberger, and Jill Stone.
Funeral will be at 3 p.m. Friday, Jan. 26, 2018, at St. Marys Episcopal Church with Father Charles Chapman and Father Bob Allen officiating.
Burial will follow at Arlington Memorial Park under the direction of Youngs Funeral Directors.
