Mattie Mae Snyder Brantley 94 died Thursday March 29, 2007. Services will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday with Rev. Sam Orr officiating. Burial will follow at Baldwin Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
Mrs. Brantley was a native of Washington Co. but made her home in Milledgeville. She was a retired LPN at Central State Hospital. She was preceded in death by her parents Cleveland L. and Annie Osborne Snyder and her husband Jessie Guy Brantley and two siblings Woodrow Snyder and Ethel Broome. She was a member of Hardwick Baptist Church.
Survivors include her children; Don Brantley, Linda Pennington (Marion) and Carol Strickland (Tony) all of Milledgeville and Jeannette Buffington (Emory) of Missouri, a brother Herbert L. Snyder of Tifton, 4 sisters; Ruby Crowe and Lois Payne of Milledgeville, Alma Smallwood and Ruth Roberson of Gordon, 10 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren.
Nephew: John Cleveland Snyder son of Woodrow Snyder.
