Sherwood “Tom” Bradshaw, age 80, passed away, Monday, January 22, 2018 in Crockett. He was born May 13, 1937 in Oletha to parents, Earlie E. Bradshaw and Lola Pearl Clay Bradshaw. Tom was a veteran of the U. S. Army, serving during the Korean Conflict. He joined the Houston Police Department on June 30, 1969, Academy Class #BC1. During his career, he was assigned to the Identification Division and the Crime Lab. Tom retired the first time January 22, 1994, but went back to work on November 2, 1994 as a Police Service Officer and Forensic Photographer, assigned to the Crime Lab and Identification Division. He retired as a Forensic Photographer Supervisor on January 8, 2005. After moving to Crockett, he became the photographer for the Pineywoods Fine Art performances as well as doing other photography in the area. Tom was a member of the H. P. D. Retired Officers Association and Central Baptist Church, Crockett.
Funeral services for Tom Bradshaw, age 80, of Crockett will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, January 26, 2018 in the Callaway-Allee Memorial Chapel. Interment will follow in the Evergreen Memorial Park.
