Bettina Davis Divers, 90, of Rocky Mount was born on Sept. 1, 1927 and went to be with the Lord on Thursday, Jan. 18, 2018. She retired from MW Manufactures with 44 years of service and was a lifetime member of Rocky Mount Christian Church. She is preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Virginia Davis; husband, James Roy Divers; daughter, Bettina Bratton; grandson, Robert Bratton; sisters, Ruby (Ed) Sheppard, Evelyn (Garland) Hunt; and brothers, John (Mary) Davis, and Ben (Beulah) Davis. Surviving: son, James Arthur (Clementine) Divers; grandchildren, Mellissa Divers, Daphne Divers Tilley, Jennifer Fox, and James Butler; eight great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews (Special to her heart, Ethan Divers and Kamryn Via); special niece and helpful family member, JoAnn Boone.
