Marguerite Williams Jackson, 93 of Wrightsville, passed away at her residence peacefully, Thursday morning, January 18, 2018. A life long resident of Johnson County, Mrs. Jackson was born September 1, 1924 to the late William Preston and Mattie Daniels Williams. Mrs. Jackson was a housewife and sold Avon on her spare time. She enjoyed gardening and being with her family. Mrs. Jackson was a member of Lovett Methodist Church
Mrs. Jackson was preceded in death by her husband, Rex Leonard Jackson, Sr.; one brother, Melvyn Williams; two sisters, Emmie Mullins, and Wease Mullis; one grandson, George William East, III.
Graveside services will be held for Mrs. Jackson, Saturday morning, January 20, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. at Westview Cemetery. Rev. Roger Holly will be the officiating minister.
Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at Brantley Funeral Home from 10:00 to 11:00 A.M.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be given to Pruitt Health Hospice at 667 S Main St, Swainsboro, GA 30401.
