John Wilson 82, Dies of Gunshot
Roberts, Oct 22- John A Wilson 82, long time resident of Roberts, was found dead of a gunshop wound at his residence Saturday
The body was found by a son William J Wilson of Pocotello about 1:05 p.m. He notified Jefferson authorities and Deputy Ed Lambert investigated. He reported that the wound was caused by a bullet from a 22 rifle and was apparently self-inflicted. Mr Wilson has resided at Roberts for 15 years. Mr Wilson was born in Ogden Utah, July 25, 1880, son of William C and Mary Ann Western Wilson. When he was three he came to the EAgle Rock area. He had spent the remainder of his life here.
He married Anna Metzener of Idaho Falls and Switzerland in 1903. They were later divorced.
He is survived by two sons, Jeff J Wilson, Helena Montana and William J Wilson Pocatello, one daughter Alice J Wilson, idaho Falls; one sister Mrs Elizabeth Sudduth, Santa Cruz California; six grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Funeral services are planned for Wednesday at 10 a.m. at the Buck Funeral Home. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery.
Officiating will be the Rev. James Little pastor of the Idaho Falls First Presbyterian Church.
Married Anna Metzner 15 June 1908 Blackfoot, Idaho. They had three children, Feff 1909, Alice J 1911 and William J Wilson 1913.
