Mrs. Anna Lee Ambrose Dies at Warner Robbins
PERRY, Ga., Dec 25-Mrs Anna Lee Ambrose, 52, died today in the hospital at Warner Robins after an Illness of one month. The family Is formerly from Sylvester.
Mrs Ambrose is survived by her husband, Scott Ambrose, Warner Robins; two sons, Pfc Emory Ambrose, Spence Field, Moultrie,Ga. and Millard Ambrose, Warner Robins; four daughters: Mrs MucGralha, Fort Valley; Mrs Pauline Kendall, Miss EUla Lee Ambrose, and Miss Pearl Mae Ambrose all of Warner Robins.
Burial will be in the Oakdale cemetery near Moultrie The time will be announced later by Watson and Whipple funeral home.

Margaret Leanna {Anna Lee} Lister (Ambrose) was born on March 2, 1891, in Wilcox, Georgia, to Margaret "Mollie" Leanna Powell (Lister), age 24, and James Jackson "Jack" Lister, age 27. She had two siblings: Nancy Florence Lister (Johnson)(Ambrose)--Nancy's sister, Margaret was married to brother of Ambrose Husband, Scott 1886–1955 and William Jackson "Willie" Lister Sr 1888–1956.
She married Scott Emory Ambrose in May 1912. They had six children in 14 years: Nancy Lillie Belle Ambrose (McGrotha) 1913–1948, Emory Newton Ambrose 1915–1996, Millard Cecil Ambrose 1919–1994, Eula Lee Ambrose (Dorminey) 1921–2011,
Margaret Pauline Ambrose (Kendall)(Wallace) 1924–?, and Pearlie Mae Ambrose (Watson) 1926–2009.
Anna died on December 25, 1943, in Houston, Georgia, at the age of 52 and is buried at Oakdale Baptist Church Cemetery in Moultrie, Georgia
