Mr. John Harold Wyngaert, age 64, went to the loving arms of Jesus, Thursday, September 26, 2002. He was born Oct. 6, 1937, to Joseph E. & Jane G. (Church) Wyngaert in Ferndale and had been a lifelong resident of Whatcom County.

After graduating from Ferndale High School, Mr. Wyngaert served 2 - years for the US Army in Japan with the 34th Engineers Battalion. On Feb. 22, 1980, he married Margaret Jo Anway-Kennedy in Bellingham. In 1998, after 29 years of employment with Intalco Aluminum, he retired. Some of the hobbies Mr. Wyngaert enjoyed were: bowling, camping, fishing, traveling in his motor home, visiting casinos, and spending time with family and his pets. He was active in Boy Scouts of America, was a longtime member of the Fraternal Order of Foresters, and served 25 years as a volunteer Firefighter for Dist. #7 in Ferndale.

Preceding him in death was: his parents and a brother, Edward J. Wyngaert. Survivors include: his wife, Margaret of the family home daughters: Julie & husband Greg Parmenter, and Connie Wyngaert & husband Grant Gilbert all of Ferndale son, Jon & wife Tammy Wyngaert of Everson brothers: Louis & wife Darlene Wyngaert of Custer, James & wife Diane Wyngaert of Ferndale Sister, Josephine & husband Dewey Soren of Ferndale sister-in-law, Fran Wyngaert of Ferndale stepdaughters: Polly & husband Tom Hicks of Vancouver, WA, and Peggy Kennedy-Blake of Bellingham 9 grandchildren beloved dogs: Daisy and Rosie and numerous other nieces, nephews & relatives.
